Delicious Indian Fish Recipes - Creamy prawn Curry

One of the best and most popular India Recipes that has been internationally acclaimed, creamy prawn curry is a specialty of Bengali cooks. They have their own inimitable style of cooking non-vegetarian foods.
To prepare this particular Bengali fish recipe which becomes even more delicious when served with Indian Rice you require five hundred grams of headless prawns that is shelled and cleaned. Other ingredients are: -
1. Half teaspoon of turmeric powder.
2. One cup onion paste.
3. One teaspoon each of ginger paste, red chili paste and one inch piece cinnamon.
4. A couple of bay leaves and four each of cloves and green cardamoms.
5. Two cups of coconut milk.
6. Two tablespoons of ghee or butter and salt to taste.
For preparation you should rub the prawns with salt and wash them and apply turmeric powder and keep aside for 5 minutes. Use ghee and mix the pastes with the prawn and keep for five minutes. Then fry it lightly till the oil separates and finally add the coconut milk and put salt. Simmer in low heat for two minutes and your recipe is ready.
