After that, and realizing that they can probably never compete with the internet, you should jump online and compare the prices and specifications on there.

I found two local companies that sold the used pseries servers and used bladecenter servers. I wrote down the prices and all the information about them, to take home and look over. When I compared them to the ones that were available online, the online stores were cheaper for one kind and more expensive for the other.

I opted to buy the used pseries online because it came with a guarantee and I could probably do some of the work myself on it, if it needed to be repaired anytime in the future.
