I was happy to see someone move into the house across the street from me and start fixing it up. The previous two owners had been very hard on the house and it was defiantly in need of some TLC. I had checked into buying it when it came on the market about six months ago, to use as a rental but they wanted way too much money for it.

The new owners have started to put on a new roof and they have even torn out the old doors and hung up new wrought iron doors in their place. After they put in the wrought iron doors, they put in a pair of wrought iron gates at the front of the driveway and they match the new doors perfectly.

I would think that with all the work that they are doing, they are planning on staying there for a long time. If you were just going to flip it, then I do not think that you would spend all that money on wrought iron doors and wrought iron gates. Usually in a flip, you would just go with what is the least expensive but looks great. I have priced out wrought iron doors and gates and they are definitely not cheap but they always look great.
