Our apartment complex needs some refurbishing. The minor shaking from a construction activity nearby caused some walls to crack.  We did not even notice it not until the old lady from the ground floor told us about it. We already told Mr. Han of the maintenance department but he was too busy to inform the owners. As tenants, we believed that to the best of our interests, we should inform the owners about this but not until we find a list of painting contractors for them to choose. It was to give them this information so that they will not tell us that they could not contact anyone to do the job. Since our letter was very comprehensive. The owners immediately chose one from our list. I think they saw the urgency of our letter and it made them respond quickly.

The property maintenance company they chose from the list we gave the owners was the best in town. The painting job and minor repairs they did made us more comfortable staying in the apartment.  It was such a good feeling knowing that we are safe again and I want to mention that the painting job was very relaxing. I think our owners learned something from this experience as well. The primary concern should be the utmost satisfaction of the tenants. They saw how the tenants were happy because of the renovations. They never knew about this not until they saw how the painters work and how much the tenants appreciated the work being done when the repairs were undergoing.
