I Helped My Aunt Find a Company to Help her Sell an Overseas Property

07/24/2009

My aunt who lived in Spain and had recently lost her husband and was looking to relocate to the states to live closer to me and my parents. She asked me if I would help her find a company that deals with selling overseas property and I told her that I would be happy to help her.

She sent me all the information regarding her house, like how many bedrooms and bathrooms it had. How much she wanted to get for it and also the town it was located in since I had never been there. I started my search on the internet and found a company that deals with selling overseas property. I submitted all of the information that she had given me and we went from there. They had sold her house within ten days of listing it.

The same company then helped her buy an overseas property also. She moved into a cute little house that is about twenty minutes down the road from my parents and is actually right around the corner from my house.

She has lived here for about four months now and has really gotten to know her way around this town. She says that she loves it here and is so glad that she decided to move. She was very lonely living in Spain without any family close by.

Real Estate for Sale - How To Sell Your Home For What It Is Worth

10/04/2007

Home selling prices are starting to fluctuate a great deal across the country. Many areas that have been experiencing a real estate boom are starting to find out that home prices can’t stay up forever. On the other hand there are still areas of the country that are experiencing rapid home sales and roaring prices. So the question is how you price your home right so that you can get the most money and sell your home fast.

The first key to any Real Estate for Sale is to list the property at the correct price. Most homes are listed for a higher price then what the home is truly worth. Most FSBO’s price the home high because they feel their home is worth more than their neighbor’s even though the neighbor’s home is exactly the same. Real estate agents unfortunately price homes too high for fear of not getting the listing. A real estate agent should know the proper price for a home but are pressured by the seller to list for a higher amount. Instead of the agent doing the right thing, telling the owner how much the home is really worth, they go ahead and list the home for the higher amount. Whatever you do, make sure you price your home at market or below.

To find the true value of your home you can either get a professional appraisal or get an experience Real Estate agent to help you with effective Real Estate Advertising. A professional appraisal will cost around 400 dollars and will take about 3 hours to complete. The appraiser will measure your home and find comparable sales in your area. The real estate agent will do the same for free but their number might not be as accurate. Of course a very experienced agent from your area might come up with a more accurate number.
