The last thing that I wanted to do was to find out that all of the Galena hotels on my list were full for the night. I rarely call in advance when I am traveling, and I never have trouble finding somewhere to stay, since my assistant always prints out a list of the local hotels for me. I had one more place to try and it was a Galena bed and breakfast which was just up the road.

I was so happy to have the woman behind the desk at the Galena bed and breakfast tell me that they did in fact have a vacancy. I do not know how that happened, all that I can think is that maybe not too many people know about this place. It is definitely much nicer than the other Galena hotels that I stopped to try and check in to.

Everyday there are lots of meetings and conventions taking place. Well, I would say that the people of Las Vegas are fortunate since they have many convention rooms in the good Las Vegas Hotels. The rooms are good enough so that many people prefer to hire them plus the catering services of the hotels and it is also discounted.

Take Excalibur hotel for instance, it has several convention rooms that are ideal for banquets and meetings. They cover a space pf 12,000 square feet! Do you now realize why I say those in Las Vegas are fortunate? They don’t worry about convention venues. And the most interesting bit is that they get them at discounts.

Don’t even talk about Golden Nugget hotel. It now boasts of an even larger space of about 20,000 square feet. That accommodates the 11 meeting rooms with 2 overlooking the pool. The advantage to the guests in this hotel is that they can use the rooms while on board. This still goes with the fact that you get discounts as guests.

So, sincerely the cheap Vegas hotels have a lot more advantages to look into. The convention rooms are just marvelous. Give them a try and have the real feel.
